Foodies are advised to try Singapore’s iconic dish Hainanese chicken rice, beef kway teow, char kway teow, cereal prawns and chilli crab.

Indonesia’ Jakarta ranked 21st on the list while Hanoi secured the 47th position, HCMC at 60th and Bangkok at 62nd.

As part of TasteAtlas’s annual rankings, Singapore placed 90th among the world’s 100 best cuisines, trailing behind several Southeast Asian neighbors, including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Founded in 2015, TasteAtlas links 9,000 local restaurants and showcases tens of thousands of dishes based on reviews and research by culinary experts, chefs, and users.

The site serves as a global map of traditional dishes made from local ingredients and aims to celebrate great food, foster pride in culinary traditions, and spark curiosity about dishes unfamiliar to many tourists.
